Tis the season for Creativity + Collaboration ✨

Still Stuffed?

From the Thanksgiving grub, of course! We know we are, in addition to the mounds of post-production we're tending to after a Fall chock full of productions. We're click clacking away at our keyboards, but still find the room to giggle with each other, and stay in touch with you πŸ’™. Let's dig into it!

Happy (Almost) Holidays!

Not sure if you all remember, but we did some pretty epic VK Holiday cards last year. If you don't, here's a little refresher. It was quite the experience bringing our team together for that, and we're excited to carry the magic into this season (and the new year) with an even bigger team βœ¨πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Back to Back Productions!

Prepare for deliciousness! We recently joined forces with Against and Boise Co-op (shout out to food stylist extraordinaire Rebecca Robison @Boisefoodstylist) to shoot some seriously good looking food. From in store to in the kitchen, our whole team came together for a two day shoot that captured the magic that is local, farm grown ingredients, and have an absolute blast doing it, as always.

But, the party didn't stop there. We then went into a full week of production with partners Against + College of Western Idaho for incredibly exciting and fulfilling campaign materials in both stills and motion. We're itching to share these finals with y'all, but enjoy the BTS in the meantime.

New Mural in GC!

Our friends at Roots Zero Waste Market, one frogger leap away from the studio, have some fresh art on their exterior! Special thanks to the Garden City Placemaking Fund and BLAC (Black Liberation Art Collective) for working hard in the cold weather to make it happen! Their names are Carnessa Lynn, Kiara Bell, and Lilian Black. Mungo mentored and assisted with the painting and guiding.

A note from Aaron: "It brought me a lot of joy to watch these artists concept the water rabbit together, and then see them work through rain and sun with the most incredible attitude and supportive nature. These are artists that really deserve to be seen and get some recognition. Cassandra Schiffler at Surels place was pivotal in pushing the project through and really did an incredible job supporting these artists."

Your 2024 VK Wrapped!

Yes, we're jumping on the Wrapped Bandwagon to showcase our (and your) Really Real Band Name Wrapped for the year! Thanks for entertaining our wild humor - we're excited to keep it going and the band name juices flowing. 😎

We're Back With More VK 4 Good! Our goal with this secondary newsletter is to highlight the work of our amazing community and the ways creativity is being produced and supported in Idaho - from sitting on boards, to building programs, or producing public art projects. Each month, we'll highlight the VK 4 Good projects we have going on, or we'll talk about a local creative that inspires us. Really, we just want to spread the love our community deserves. VK 4 Good Projects Uplifting Communities...

Everyone... Welcome Maxine! In case you haven't already heard, our very own Matthew Wordell is a real life physical dad!!!! Not too long ago, Matt + Kyra welcomed their beautiful baby girl Maxine to the world and truthfully, we haven't stopped crying since (and neither has Matt). We're filled with joy and happiness for our newest member, and we can't wait until the VK onesies come in. As always, our team thrives in finding moments to love and appreciate our life, outside of the love we have...

Dreams Work When Teams Work.. ..and we've been werking on all fronts. The end of Summer and intro to Fall has kept us on our toes and yet, we still managed to find time to keep up with ourselves. With the addition of a couple new folks (Liz + Remy, duh) we decided to do a fresh VK photoshoot. Normally, you'd think of these as headshots, but since they're so much more than that, we like to call them ✨ portraits ✨ In true VK fashion, we cooked up a few wild ideas to try out. Ultimately, we were...
